Who we are

The SciArt project team consists of the European University of Cyprus, the Anastasios G. Leventis Foundation, the Falcon School (Cyprus), the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Western Macedonia, the Experimental School of the University of Thessaloniki (Greece), the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, the Municipal Museum of Esposende and the Eugénio de Andrade School (Portugal).

The Museum of Byzantine Culture of Thessaloniki is a valued associate partner in the project since the project objectives align with the museum’s priorities.

The Museum opened its doors for the first time on September 11th 1994 with the exhibition ‘Byzantine Treasures of Thessaloniki. The return journey’ and has been a pioneer in the treatment of its exhibits, as well as its activities and the high level of the provided services.
